"Absolutely LOVING the coffee, super fast delivery, wonderful information supplied about the coffee and the quality is truly spectacular
- so glad I subscribed!!"
"Those who know me, know that I am a bit of a coffee snob. I try not to be, but unfortunately, I am!
So, when I got sent this amazing box of freshly roasted coffee beans from Blue Coffee Box I was excited and to be honest a little sceptical.
I've had coffee beans from another company in the past and I was a little underwhelmed with some of the stuff they sent me.
So, I ground up the beans and made a cup of the stuff using my Aeropress and wow, what a flavour! Kind of like drinking coffee in 3D."
"How exciting it was to open my first blue box. Well presented with great information of each coffee. It was a treat for my husband who lives for coffee. Surperb flavors with depth and intensity, working our way through. Highly recommend to everyone.
Thank you Blue Coffee Box"
"Love it. My friends were impressed when I explained where their mug of coffee was from, who grew it and what it was called. Only because I'd read the little postcard in the box, lol. I never knew there was so much going on in coffee."- Caroline / Ascot
"Was not sure what I'd get but the first two bags of coffee taste lovely. Not opened the other yet. And the box was nice. It was like getting a present all wrapped up inside and was delivered by the postman so I didn't have to wait in. I've got a Gaggia and they ground it for my machine which was good. The beans are from little farms that seem to have the whole family involved. Well done Blue Coffee."- Andrea / Bury
"I'm from Australia and this made me feel like I was in Melbourne enjoying the cafe culture all over again. I can't wait to get the next one and see if they can taste this good."- Will / Folkestone
The Gentlemen Baristas is owned and run by Henry Ayers and his business partner in crime Edward Parkes. They met at the London Coffee Festival in 2011 and three years later opened The Gentlemen Baristas, where they serve “well-mannered coffee”.
To prepare for their expansion to six cafes, their new roastery has been constructed under the railway arches in Shadwell, East London.
In fact, their British racing green 17th century Union Street cafe is the original headquarters of the Coffee Trade Federation from days of old.
The staff at The Gentlemen Baristas focuses solely on the customer experience — and they want to make sure that from the moment you enter until the time you leave, you are met with a comfort like no other.
Not only that, but you will find yourself amused at the British uniqueness of each coffee because many of them are named after classically British hats such as the Deerstalker, Boater, Top Hat and Pith Helmet.
Henry and Ed are adding some Britishness back into the world of speciality coffee.
