Why choose whole beans?
Coffee starts to lose its aroma soon after it's ground, so grinding just before you brew gives the freshest, fullest flavour. Whole beans also keep for longer once the bag is open, and you can adjust the grind for whatever you're brewing. If you're thinking about a grinder, see how to choose a coffee grinder and the mistakes to avoid when grinding coffee.

Prefer ground coffee?
No grinder? No problem. We'll send your coffee ground to suit how you brew:
- Cafetière: a coarse grind for a French press, and for cold brew.
- Dripper: a medium grind for a V60, Chemex or filter machine.
- AeroPress: a medium-fine grind.
- Espresso: a fine grind for an espresso machine or a stovetop moka pot.
Not sure which to pick? Our guide to brewing coffee at home covers the grind, ratio and brew time for every method.
Choose your roast
Pick light, medium or dark roast, decaf, or half and half (one decaf and one regular coffee in each Box). Or choose Surprise me and let us pick for you.
How much coffee do you need?
A 227g bag makes about 15 mugs, using 15g of coffee for each one (see how much coffee to use per cup). As a guide:
- A mug most days: The Box every month (about 30 cups).
- Two mugs a day, or a coffee-loving household: The Big Box every month (about 60 cups), our best value.
- The odd weekend coffee: The Bag every month, or every two months.
How it works
- Choose your coffee: The Bag, The Box or The Big Box; whole beans or a grind; and your roast.
- Choose how often: every 2 weeks, monthly or every 2 months. Pay per delivery, or upfront for longer.
- Enjoy it fresh: skip a delivery, change your date or cancel from your account whenever you like.
