Freebird Artisan Souls launched their amazing company in 2016 by Karen Alexander, Owen Crane and Denise Lauaki.
Freebird came about when Karen and her business partners put their heads together to come up with the perfect name.
None of the three of them really cared about tea that much at first all they had been accustomed to really bad tea.
Because of this, they made it their to source the best tea in the world and blend amazing together.
The three of them believe in being totally free and not being held back by anything but living a full life - enjoying every moment to the hilt.
So right from the beginning, they all decided that they wanted nothing more than to help ‘free’ those people by donating profits from the business to charities.
Of course, they all love the song from Lynyrd Skynyrd, ‘Freebird’ and with that, the company was born!
The Vision for Freebird Artisan Souls
Because life is tough that means that many people are trapped in circumstances that cage them, whether that’s financial, relational, poor choices made in the past or they find themselves in a place so horrific it’s hard to even put into words.
All of the teas sold at Freebird are sourced from suppliers who are part of the Ethical Tea Partnership.
Their goal is to ensure that the people who are right at the beginning of the supply chain are looked after and treated well.
Here's The Really Awesome News About Freebird
Freebird Artisan Souls loves to be generous and that is one of the reasons they are so popular with their customers!
10% of their profits each month are given to a fantastic charity in northern Uganda run by one of their dear friends called Mama Shirls.
Mama Shirls gave up a lucrative career in the NHS to provide health care and community support to those that need it the most. The folks behind Freebird love giving back and helping Mama Shirls!
