The History of Where Tea Began

As legend has it, the very first cup of tea was consumed in 2737 BC, by the Chinese emperor Shennong. According to this ancient tale, Shennong was resting in his garden sipping a cup of boiling hot water – which at the time was a remedy for tired bones and muscles.

Suddenly, the wind carried a few leaves from a nearby tea tree through the air and into his glass. Noticing the change in colour and fragrance, Shennong became curious and took a sip of his new beverage. Thus, the first ever cup of full-leaf tea was consumed.

Now that you know a little bit about the history of where tea came from, let's check out the best tea brewer and infusers.

What is the Best Tea Brewer or Infuser?

Infusers

Our favourite infusers are the round ball style. Not all infusers are created equal though.

When choosing an infuser, you need to make sure that it is a 301 stainless steel and not 201 stainless steel. While they both do a great job at infusing tea, the 201 has a tendency to stain and rust over time-- and no one wants that in their tea.
