Mission Coffee Works is an independent speciality coffee roaster in Hackney Wick, East London. It started in 2012 as a street coffee van in Peckham, serving espresso before latte art was everywhere, and since 2018 it has focused on roasting.
From a coffee van to a roastery
After years of serving coffee on the street, the team decided to go back to where it all starts: roasting. Their roastery in Queen's Yard, Hackney Wick, now supplies cafés, restaurants and offices, as well as people brewing at home.
Keeping it simple
Mission's approach is simple: source great green coffee, roast it carefully, and get it to customers quickly while it's fresh. For the cafés they supply, that goes hand in hand with good equipment, training and reliable service, so their coffee tastes as good in the cup as it does at the roastery.
